Schools are often seen as depressing, drab buildings, but that shouldn’t be the case. 
When tasked to create a vocational school, my primary goal was to create a design that
inspires students when they walk through the doors.  They should be excited to further their education, and their surroundings will directly affect their performance and creativity.  Filled
with foliage and natural light, this school directly takes concepts from the mid-century modern
K-12 designs of the 1950s while applying them in a contemporary fashion.
